At Friends Church Yorba Linda, we believe leadership is formed through intentional mentoring, practical ministry experience, and meaningful relationships. Throughout the internship, experienced leaders will invest in your growth and development, while you engage in different areas and aspects of ministry alongside a community of other interns.
Our internship program offers flexible opportunities throughout the year, including school-year (Fall & Spring), summer, and year-round placements.
Interns can serve in a variety of ministry areas, including Kids, 4th & 5th Grade, Junior High, High School, College/Young Adults, Local & Global Missions, Worship & Creative Arts, Discipleship, and Marketing & Communications (MARCOM).

12-25 hours a week
Compensation: $18 per hour
Housing is not provided during the school year. Host Homes may be available during the summer months if needed.
If your school requires fieldwork or an internship, we will work directly with your institution to help ensure your experience fulfills the competencies necessary to receive college credit.
During the school year, we ask that interns prioritize their studies and internship responsibilities. In the summer, we understand that a flexible job outside of the internship may be necessary.
