If you would like to invest in the next generation of Christ followers, then NextGen ministries is the perfect opportunity to use the gifts God gave you. Spending time with kids and students is fun and rewarding, and you’ll be surprised how much your faith will grow.
Lead a small group of kids by encouraging them towards taking one step closer to an authentic relationship with Jesus. Accomplish this through small group activities and questions that coincide with each lesson.
2 - 3 times a month, every other week.
Assist where there is a need in one of our Infant-5th Grade rooms.
1-2 times a month.
Create a loving and safe environment for babies. Pray over, hold, rock, and play with children.
1 time a month
Play with and engage children in your care. Lead a small group of children through an activity or craft as an enrichment to the Large Group Bible Lesson.
2 - 3 times a month, every other week.
Assist a special needs child making sure the child is safe, calm, and learning about Jesus.
1-4 times a month depending on how often the child & their family comes to church
Leaders hang out with, pour into, and most importantly disciple our students in a group setting on Wednesday Nights.
Every Wednesday from September-May
Come alongside a college or young professional, giving Godly wisdom and support as they navigate the hard world of their 20's!
Varies
Represent the YA team with follow-up phone calls, emails and texts to those who have inquired about groups and events. Requires a computer. Time Commitment: 1 hour per week.
Support 4-5 life group leaders with monthly contact to encourage them, pray for them, and guide them to follow God’s leading of their group.
Commit to pray for requests pertaining to YA ministries. Be available at events to join those seeking prayer in the prayer space. Time commitment: Events are 3-4 times per year and weekly solo prayer.
Shepherd a life group and help them grow spiritually in community.
