Our new giving initiative, IMAGINE, will encompass all acts of generosity over the next two years. We will consolidate our financial objectives into a single fund, also known as the one-fund. This one-fund will resource not only our ongoing ministry activities, but facilitate campus expansion and development, drive impact in India and beyond, and enhance our Yorba Linda campus for future generations.
Our new giving initiative, IMAGINE, is our endeavor to go above and beyond for the sake of our community. This Imagine money will help us do the important work of renovating our space, and set us up for a long-term future of ministry in the city of Anaheim. At Friends Church, God has done far more than we asked or could ever have imagined, and we anticipate Him continuing to show His glory through the church for the next generations. Will you join us as we begin this journey of IMAGINE?

Renovate our children's building. Your generosity has already enabled us to renovate the interior of our kids space, including new windows, flooring, carpet and paint, as well as purchasing chairs and tables to furnish that space!
Add an ADA unisex bathroom off our lobby. This will allow us to renovate the bathrooms with their current configuration, as well as provide an ADA accessible bathroom for any who has need of it.
Renovate our lobby and office spaces. This will include adding a sink in our lobby, new flooring and lighting in all spaces, and clean walls.
Renovate our worship center. We will be putting new flooring and lighting in the worship space, as well as take off the wood paneling and clean up the walls.
Removal of baptismal. As a part of removing the baptismal, we will also restructure the stage to have space to accommodate multiple people/musicians.
A new sound system that works for our space. We have already installed our new sound system, which was factored into the scope of work!

Parking Lot. Within the next 2 years we believe that we can raise the funds necessary to fully redo our parking lot. In the meantime we are looking for possible ways to patch and repaint as a temporary solution.
One woman shared that her father began a building fund for the church in 1950. He started with 1 dollar. That dollar started an avalanche of generosity, allowing the old Garden Grove campus to build their 2-story education building, built primarily with volunteers and donated money. She felt that her father (now deceased) would have been excited about the future of Friends Church Anaheim, and decided to donate a sizable amount of money to our campaign to continue the work that God has been doing!
One family in our church was moved by the work God is doing, and have donated the entire HVAC updates and upkeep that we need! This incredibly generous gift has allowed us to put the money we would have spent on HVAC towards the rest of our scope.
Knowing that we were going to need new windows in our Sunday School building, one individual donated the entire amount needed to bring light and new life to that building! Their gift has already made a huge impact on our kids and families, by helping our space feel safe and warm.
