IMAGINE is a two-year generosity initiative that will help us grow spiritually and provide the essential resources for the next generations of our ministry.
Our new giving initiative, IMAGINE, will encompass all acts of generosity over the next two years. We will consolidate our financial objectives into a single fund, also known as the one-fund. This one-fund will resource not only our ongoing ministry activities, but facilitate campus expansion and development, drive impact in India and beyond, and enhance our Yorba Linda campus for future generations.
Since launching Friends Orange in 2013, God has done far more than we could have asked or imagined. As He continues to grow our church and expand our impact in the city, we now have the opportunity to come together and create a permanent home for Friends. We are building a permanent foundation to inspire and equip future generations to be world-changers for Jesus Christ by renovating a new, larger property in the heart of Old Towne. This will ensure Friends will continue to be part of the spiritual revitalization of our city for decades to come.
Our future home is more than a church building—it’s a catalyst for lasting impact. This space will empower us to serve our neighborhood and city in deeper, more meaningful ways. Imagine a place where ministry is alive every day of the week. Where vibrant worship gatherings happen throughout the weekend and the laughter of children is heard throughout the week from a new preschool. A place where hundreds of families find nourishment, care, and dignity through an expanded food pantry. Imagine a green space and a playground designed for connection—where neighbors gather and friendships grow. Picture a facility that comes alive in the evenings as a true community hub, hosting basketball and pickleball leagues, after-school programs, and safe spaces for kids and youth to thrive. Imagine is about far more than a building—it’s a home for hope, a center for connection, and a launchpad for transformation in our city.

Transparency and frequency of communication are of utmost importance to us in keeping

church communications and from the stage during services.
As we continue to grow and see God do more than we could ever imagine, we believe the time is right for Friends Orange to secure a permanent home in the heart of Old Towne that will serve as a beacon of hope for generations to come and to go beyond our local community to change lives around the world.

mean for this next season of your life.
Act: Follow with joyful obedience whatever God asks you to do. Together we will bring our commitments
forward—we can’t wait to see what God will do!
Given the year-over-year growth of Friends and the opportunity to purchase and renovate property that will allow continued ministry in the city, we believe this is a KAIROS moment. KAIROS is a Greek word meaning the “right or opportune time”. For our church, this means that this is the right time in the right place with the right people. Given the trajectory of real estate costs and the limited availability of property in Orange, imagine the impact on Friends if we were to miss the moment.

Practically, this means that every gift given to the one-fund at Friends Orange will go toward fueling the vision of Imagine.
This generosity initiative is discipleship-oriented and is aimed at helping us grow as individuals
and also increase our impact as a church. This isn’t just about raising money—in fact, if
someone offered to write a check for the full goal right now, we’d still do this giving initiative!
Our primary goal is 100% engagement and spiritual growth in the area of generosity, and our
secondary goal is to raise all the money needed to fund our vision and our ministries over the
next two years.
