As a church we believe that prayer matters because it invites both God’s presence and power into our lives. That’s why we’re excited to come together September 12-13 to pray for 24 hours over the places where we live, learn, work, and play. This year, our goal is to “pray circles” around as many places in our city as possible by prayer walking specific areas during a 24 hour period. As we pray, we’ll keep our eyes, ears, and hearts open to what God may want to share with us.

This year, rather than signing up for a specific time slot, we’re asking you to choose four key  locations that you'll commit to covering in prayer.  Then during the 24 hour block of September 12-13, you'll physically go to the neighborhood, school, business/marketplace, or city location that you've identified to prayer walk around them.  After you fill out the sign up form, a person from our team will reach out to coordinate with you about the locations you request.  

We'll provide prayer guides to everyone that signs up to help explain how prayer walking works and to give you directions on what you can pray for.  We’re excited to circle the city with you and invite God’s presence and power into our community together.  Please email any questions to jordanc@friends.church.
